OCCUPANTS’ NARROW ESCAPE

DANNEVIRKE, November 27
'A' seven-seater cylinder car, driven by Miss Stein when returning to Dan-, nevirke after an entertainment of Brownies in the country, left the road, and ran up a three foot bank, and finally capsized. >Av Of the ten occupants, Mis s Jean Grant, of Mangahi, was the only one hurt, receiving a scalp wound. Had the car caught fire, there would have a tragedy, as the occupants were unable to get out until released.
