NZ AND SCOTTISH CHARITIES (Per Press Association, Copyright). AUCKLAND, November 24. The will of the late Donald Grant, farmer of Te Puke, whose estate is sworn for probate purposes at under £IO,OOO, provides a sum of £3OIO for distribution among New Zealand and Scottish charities. The Salvation Army and the Presbyterian .Bible Society, Auckland, are each bequeathed £335, Little Sisters of the Poor £270, and the Leslie Presbyterian Orphanage, Auckland £270. Among other bequests are £135 to the Blind Institute, and £135 to the Otago Medical School for Tuberculosis Research. Grant was a* bachelor, aged 80. He formerly lived in the Palmerston North district. His will directs that lie be buried on the top of a hill on his farm, at a spot marked by himself with a totara post.
