HUNTLY FIRES

THREEL HOUSES DESTROYED (Per Press Association —Copyright). HAMILTON; November 25. . Three houses, adjourning Farrell’s Crossing, about half mile south of Huntly, were totally destroyed by fire. The dwellings, each of five-rooms, wore occupied by A. Black, A. Harlock and H. Gainsford. The fire broke out in the centre house occupied by Mr Harlock. The' flames spread so rapidly that the occupants, including children, had to make- a. hasty retreat in their night attire. There is .no fire brigade, in Huntly. A bucket brigade was Tillable to check the flames.
