A power house was bombed and destroyed, three transformers being blown up, iat Badalona, idling 1600 factory hands. COSTLY INDIAN IDOL STOLEN. ' CALCUTTA, November 24. Burglars raided the famous temple of Dakshineswar at Hooghly, near Calcutta.- They stripped from the idol. Kali Hindu, goddess of destruction, jewels worth nearly eight thousand sterling. These included a diamondstudded crown, a pearl necklace, and a number of gold ornaments.
