HOKITIKA v. WA'TANGI TAONA.V
A team of golfers from the Hokitika Club travelled to Wataroa during the week-end and played a match with the Waitangi Taona. Club. The morning round, play 'being in pairs, ended all square, while the afternoon foursomes were also squared. T
The visitors were hospitably enter* tained !by the local players, and a veVy enjoyable day was spent.
Mr.M. Purcell welcomed the Hokitil>a players, to which Mr T. Stuart replied, thanking the Wataroa men for t-hoiY" hospitality, and expressing the sincere wish for a return match at Hokitika at a later date.
