OBITUARY
The death of Mr Henry Wicken of Reefton took place on Saturday after a long iliness. Deceased a native of Kent, was aged 75 years and had resided at Reefton for over 50 years. Deceased was a Freemason, being a member of Lodge of Robert Burns, of which lie was a P.M. He is survived by a wife and one son, Dr Wicken. of Reefton, and three grand-children. The death occured at Christchurch yesterday, of Mr William Milne Hamilton, a partner in the Christchurch legal firm of Raymond, Stringer, Hamilton and Donnelly. Mr Ham-, ilton was for many years in practice at Waimate, and came to Christchurch! about 14 years ago. - - . i (Per Press Association—Copyright).;' CHRISTCHURCH, November 27.'\ The death has occurred of James McCormack, 70, formerly licensee of Leeston Hotel. He was a keen and successful ’owner of racehorses including Tarleton and Nicompoop.
