WASHINGTON, November 22

The American Olympic Association passed a resolution recommending that the Olympic Games at Berlin in 1932 be boycotted by American athletes unless the Nazis remove the ban on German Jews participating. Similar action was recently taken by the Amateur Athletic Union. The Olympic Association, after considerable debate, however, added a conciliatory clause, expressing the hope that the Nazis would lift the Jewish ban.
