VICTORIAN SINGLES CHAMPS (Australian Press Association). MELBOURNE, November 22. In the Victorian tennis quarter-finals of the singles championships, Hopman beat Quist 6-2, .7-5, 6-3. Berry, after a sluggish start, overwhelmed A. Willard, beating him 3-6, 6-1, 6-0, 6-1. In the men’s doubles', Crawford and Hopman defeated Teague and Holloway, 6-0, 6-0, 6-1.
