'PRISONER SENTENCED.

HAMILTON, November 23

A sentence of three months imprisonment with bard labour was imposed upon Archibald. Andrew Charles Scott, by Justice Herdman, at th e Supreme Court, Hamilton, this morning. Scott pleaded guilty on Monday to five charges of theft, five cf housebreaking, one charge of theft from a dwelling, and a. charge of burglary. The prisoner said bo bad been refused employment on account of his criminal record. Hie Honour, Justice Reid, had declared Scott a habitual criminal.
