FEDERAL BUTTER
SCHEME TO AID DAIRYMEN
PROPOSED LEGISLATION

The Federal Cabinet has decided to introduce legislation to enable the dairying industry to .reorganise the marketing of butter in Australia, and to give dairymen the benefit of an Australian price for local consumption. This legislation will replace the Paterson scheme, and will also ensure that blitter for export will be exported overseas, and not to other states.
