SYDNEY BRIDGE
PREVENTION OF SUICIDES. PRESENT TOTAL IS NOW 38. (Australian Press Association). (Received this day at 12 noon.) SYDNEY, November 22. The Government is taking steps i,nniediately to make the pedestrian pathways on the harbour bridge proof against persons desirous ol committing suicide. Cabinet decided to have an effective barrier erected on the pathways. Ministers take a serious view of the increasing number of suicides from tile bridge, now totalling-38. The latest victim this week is Mr Orian Angell. Tt is stated he is a nephew of Sir Arthur COllOll Doyle.
