Yesterday’s fixture at the above yards mas responsible for an entry of 60 head of cattle only. The regular attendance of buyers were presetot and a clearance was made at- prices ruling at last fixtures. ..Li
W. Jeffrie 6 and Co.’s entry consisted of 38 head of medium weight cattle including some very choice runners. The following sales were made: —For Berry and Co. 3 steers at £7 7s 6d, 2 at tf7, 2 at £7 ss, 4 at £6 17s 6d, 2 at :'£7, 3 at '£6 15s, 2 at £6- 12s 6d, 0 cows :af£s ss, 2 runners'at £3 19s, 3 at £3 17s. On account J. Diedrichs 1 fat ipow at £5 7s. d, 1 at £5, 3 steers at £5 ss, 2 cows rat £4 10s, 3. runners at £4, ARAHURA FAT STOCK SALE. Messrs M. Houston and Co. report At the usual fortnightly sale on Monday our entry consisted of 32 .head of fat cattle which were submitted to a good-attendance of buyers. Competition was good, at prices on a par-with those of recant sales. Prime handy weight' heifers averaged 26§ per hundred, heavy ox 235, and cow beef from 16s to 20s according to quality.
