The “Cork Examiner” reveals that Cardinal Macßory, of Ulster, agreed to preside at a conference representative of all parties in ttie Free State to examine the position with a view to ire-opening negotiations with Britain. The “Examiner” says: There wa s general agreement to participate except for Mr do Valera, who refused to do so, saying that the electorate has endorsed his policy, and he accordingly would carry out his mandate.
