CRICKET

AUSTRALIAN BOARD

CONDITIONS FOR TOUR OF N.Z

(Australian Press Association)

\ Received- this day at 10.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, November 18.

The Board of Control has decided to inform the New Zealand Cricket Council that it is impossible to send a representative Australian team to New Zealand before the middle of February, and returning' not later than April 4. The Board desires that the New Zealand Council should be responsible for the assembling of the team in Sydney before its departure, and for the return of the players to their home states after the tour. The Board decided it was inopportune to entertain a visit by a Canadian team.

The text of the Board’s cablegram to the M.O.C. will be announced tomorrow.
