CHRTSTCHURQH, November 15

The body of William Yeadon, who war, found yesterday afternoon half immersed ill the- bath at h:s residence at 8, Livingstone Street, Limvocd, was the subject of an inquest to-day, The discovery was made by his wife at 3 o’clock. She had left him quite well at 5.20 a.m., although he had not been well the day before. He had announced his intention .of going >to work. When -she returned in the afternoon, <she smelt gas and found her husband half immersed in a bath full of water. The gas tu be was turned on and the room was L’U °f £? as - Yea-don, who was 45 years of age, was an" employee at the Woolston Tanneries.

A verdict of suicide by gar, poisoning was returned by the Coroner, M r TT. P. T-a-wry. Evidence was given by the wife that her husband had always seemed of a, cheerful disposition and had -give no indication of a«v intension >,to 0011011111 suicide.
