Auckland Chamber of Commerce, after discussing the budget, passed a resolution expressing the opinion that it is most desirable that a. full statement of the national finances should he made on the introduction of the budget as certain items in the last budget were open to serious question, and tended to show a far different position than was warranted by the financial position of the country.
