INVITATION TO WEST COAST
TO PLAY AT CHRISTCHURCH
CHRISTCHURCH, November 15
The management committee of the Canterbury Cricket Association,' at its meeting last evening, received a letter from the West Coast Association asking that a team from Canterbury should visit the Corel at Christmas. Mr Burns suggested that the association owed a duty to South Canterbur y and Ashburton. The secretary said that verbal invi-a. tions had been received.
Mr Thompson moved that, as a Canterbury team had. visited the West o°ast last year, the West Coast Association should be asked to send a team to Christchurch at a date to.be arranged, probably at New Year. The motion was carried,
