FATAL FALL

WOMAN FRACTURES HER SKULL (Per Prest 1 ssociation — Copyright ) AUCKLAND, November 15. A tragedy attended a family reunion to-night, held to celebrate the 72nd birthday of Mrs Emily Hambley Pearce, of Dominion Road. Mrs Pearce had gone upstairs in order to get a new hat, which she had received today, and which she wished to show to one of,her sons, who was present. When descending the stairs again she missed her‘footing, and she fell heavily, fracturing her skull. She was rendered unconscious by, the fall, and she died a few minutes later .
