Flow the totalisator has gripped Britain is shown by the fact that the Racecourse Betting Control Board’s turnover I'or the year has already passed four million sterling, thus ensuing a record year. It is calculated that from fifteen to twenty million lotalisator bets have already been handled in 1933.
