MANY CASUALTIES
MADtyUN SQUARE CARDEN RODEO (United Press Association—By Electric Te legra ph—Copy right), NEW YORK, October 26. A recently inaugurated rodeo at. Madison Square Garden, where the most vicious horses and cattle are imported for broncho-busting and steer dog'ng, in Wild West style, by voluih tcer entrants showed a- mounting casualty list, and the death to-day, of one cowboy and more or less serious injury to three cowgirls. Dock Lucas died as the result of being thrown, from a back-bucking steer. Three cowgirls, one suffering -with a broken leg, another from-a.broken anlty Je injuries, and a third.from internal injuries from being trampled on by a horsep were reported resting easily at local hospitals. Casualties total seventeen, since the opening of the Rodeo. Stage screen stars have volunteered service for a theatrical benefit. y
