MURDER ALLEGED
YORKSHIRE GROOM CHARGED. Ernest Brown, .35, a grdoni,*' is charged with ■the murder of his employer, Fredei’ick Ellison ’MortjOn,. 28, a cattle factor of Towton, Yorkshire, In his speech for the prosecution. Mr Roberts addled that Morton had employed Brown for four year (S , during which he pressed his attention on Mrs Mor on, wi,th the result that intimacy occurred. It was alleged .that w.hen Mortem returned home on September 5, B?own shot him and set fire to a garage. The flames destroyed the whole body, except the portion containing the : wound, the wad, and .the pellets. The hearing was adjourned.
