A BIG PROGRAMME LABOUR CO-OPERATION DESIRED. (Per Press Association — Copyright.) WELLINGTON, October 27. In the House of Representatives this morning, urgency was accorded the second reading of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand Bill. The Prime Minister (the Hon. G. W. Forbes), said there . was a big programme or legislation ahead, and unless there was some co-operation from the Opposition, the session would have to be continued after the New Year. Th's, however, would not be necessary if a reasonable attitude were adopted. Mr Savage said that the Opposition had no desire to hold up the legislation, but it did desire to have the opportunity to express its opinions. The second reading of the debate is proceeding.
