Armed with revolvers and daggers, a number of youths raided a moving train, crowded with passengers, at Kurigram, North Bengal. Travelling -swiftly from cartage to carriage, they forced the panic-stricken passengers to give up money and jewels. A number refused, and rvere attacked and injured.
GIRL STUDENT SENT TO GAOL CALCUTTA, October 25. Jot’kana Dutt, a Dioce.-,an College girl student, was sentenced to four years’ bard labour, for possessing revolvers and ammunition, hidden in a bag.
