CHRISTCHURCH, October 22.
The 1 body or Mrs J. J. Hanna” a married woman, 44 years of age, ’who had been missing from her home, 47 Grantley Street, New Brighton,' since Friday last, was found in the riven Avon at New Brighton this morning. Mrs Hanna, is said to. have been in ill-health for, some time and on Friday she left her home with, the intention of visiting a . hospital. Sht> did not reach. the hospital, nor. aid she return to her home. .

DUNEDIN, October 22.
Nonnan Douglas Napier, a married man, aged 35, residing at Tainui, was admitted to the hospital' at 12.30 today, suffering from head injuries, the result of him niotor cycle colliding with a lorry at the junction of Tainui Road and Musselburgh Rise. He died four hours later in the hospital. MAN SUCCUMBS TO INJURIES. ,\ :•! ■ ; , . ‘ DUNEDIN, October 22. ' As the result of injuries received' in a motor accident at Stirling on Saturday morning, Daniel ITessey Davey, a single man, aged 26, employed rt the Stirling dairy factory, died at the Balclutha Hospital to-day. His parents reside at Stirling.
