From Department of Labour, Greymouth, relative to single men who uad already been tqken- oft- the No. 5 list and were now applying for gold-mining subsidy, stating that the matter was left in the hands cf the Mining Executive and the certifying officer to .arrange for subsidy grants it the applications were favourable. —Received.
From Comity Clerk, Greyinouth, advising 'that the request of this Executive to allow Mr Strong to do supervising at Humphreys was acceded to, also stating that Mr Strong, was communicating direct.—Received with thanks Mr Strong visits on Tuesday and Wednesday.
