October 19--Searches for two' missing men ~re. proceeding at New Plymouth, Edgar Carryer, a- borough councillor -and businessman of Stratford, -who had semiretired at -New "Plymouth, has been missing for a week, and up to 130 men 'have been engaged in an extensive search, without (result.
On ’-Monday evening Cecil George Dil-l-on, -aged twenty.five, employed casually i.n the bacteriological department of the public hospital, left his boarding house without explanation beyond a note to the landlady saying “Going farming.
