Sopwith, has issued a challenge for the America Cup, with a new all steel yacht “Endeavour.”

A formal challenge for the America Cup had not been received on Tuesday by tlie New York Yacht Club.
If the practice in other years is tobe followed, various syndicate will be formed to build yachts and a defender selected after a series of elimination races.
