•Sir Oswald Moseley, England’s M usso-Hitler, marching at the head of four hundred Fascists, were attacked at Manchester by sixty Labourites, who hurled stones injuring three of the “dictator's” bodyguard.
The Fascists broke their ranks and charged the assailants until recalled by bugle. 3 lose ley then proceed to King’s Hall, where 2500 Fascists brought by train and motorbus from all parts of England, were stationed to overawe interrupters. Bands played Italian Fascist airs, and tbe audience gave the Fascist salute as Moseley entered, mounted the platform, and stood in the glare of powerful spotlights. He declared: “The Beds frequently attacked our men with razors, bludgeons, and, every despicable weapon imported from the ghettos of Europe.”
