FATAL CRASH AT RABAUL.
INJURED MAN FROM GISBORNE. (Psr Press Association — Copyright.) GISBORNE, October 17. Mr and Mrs Graham MiriieJcl visitod Gisborne on their honeymoon early in the present year, the bridegroom being the son of a local architect. Mrs Mirfield Avas the daughter of a well-known ilia haul trader. She possessed a sparkling personality, Avbicli Avon her immediate popularity among a Wide circle of friends. Mr Graham Mirfiekl Avent to Rabaul as an engineer to Carpenters, Ltd., later becoming manager of the firm’s factories. He recently took' up land.
A cablegram from Rabaul yesterday announced the death of Mrs Mirfiekl. Avhen an aeroplane crashed. Mr Mirfiekl aa'His seriously injured.
