TWENTY DEATHS
INDIAN EXPLOSION TRAGEDY

CALCUTTA, petober 14
There were twenty killed and many injured in explosions wrecking two houses, one in Madras, and, the other i n Viv.agojpatam. Both occurred during the manufacture of fireworks which is a big trade in India. It is believed there ju-e other bo dies in the debris.
MISHAP IN NEW JERSEY
BAYONNE (New Jersey),
October 13
Two men were critically injured and are expected to die, while five were reported missing on Friday night, in a fire that started with an explosion in a gasoline Launch, which ignited two piers and four lighters at the Standard Oil Company Lowerhook Plant, and barely missed igniting three tankers and freighters.
