CRICKET

THE BODYLINE CONTROVERSY.

DISSATISFACTION IN SYDNEY.

\ Australian Press Association),

SYDNEY, October 11

According to press comment there is still some dissatisfaction on the subject of the bodyline and the M.C.C. reply- At least three members of the Botp’d of Control are reported to be anxious for a special meeting of the Board to discuss tlio latest developments.

Messrs J. Huteheon, R Hnrtign,o and W. Kelly expressed their dissatisfaction and declare the M.C.C. deliberately evaded the vital point and have not given a definite assurance that there will be no bodyline bowling during the forthcoming English tour. Other cricket authorities, however, regard the M.C.C. reply as satisfactory in all circumstances and express the opinion that it makes for peace.
