ITINERARY OF AUSTRALIANS

The Australian Cricket Board of Control announced last week that the Australian eleven would sail by the Ori'oi'd, leaving Fremantle on March “20 next, and arriving in. London on April 20. The team will- return by the Oroutes, leaving London on September 29, and arriving at Melbourne on November 5. .The. team will 'assemble in Melbourne, • and will play two matches in 'Tasmania, a match in Perth, and .another 'at- Ceylon. 1 here will l>e no ■ money taken in Ceylon or at Aldershot, where the team will play a one-day fixture with the Army.

The allowances to manager, treasurer, and players wil be the same as those for the 1930 team. The manager will receive an 'allowance of £OSO, as follows:—£100 before embarkation, £4OO while in England, and £l5O on return to Australia. The treasurer will receive £OOO, in amounts of £IOO, £350 and £l5O, and the players will also receive £O9O each in similar amounts. There is a proviso that the last payment to the players (£150) will be made with the consent of the chairman of the hoard on receipt of a satisfactory report from the manager of the team. All payments will he in the currency of the country ju which payments.arc made.

A masseur will he appointed in England.

As a sequel to complaints concerning the frequent delays in some big matches last season, while drinks were served to the players, the board decided to suggest- to the M.C.C. that a clause be inserted that drinks shall not be taken on to the field more often than once during each session of play.

The board agreed that the minimum charge for county matches should be 2s. with the exception of Derbyshire, where, owing to the prevailing conditions, it was decided- the- charge should be Is. For test matches at Lord’s and the Oval the minimum charge will be 3s, including tax. and for the other test-matches-the charge will be 2s 63, including tax.
