SAFE ROBBERY
£BOOO SECURED. (Australian Press Association). (Received tin’s day at 11.30 a.in.) MELBOURNE September 30. Jewellery, old gold and money valued at eight thousand pounds were stolen from Sal dors jewellery shop on the second floor of the building in Collins Street. The robber proceeded through three buildings, and climbed across several roofs before reaching his objective. A modern, electrically driven drilling apparatus was used in cutting open the sale.
