United Press Association — By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) LONDON, September 29. Professor R. S. Conway in dead. The sudden death accured at Mokiliin u i Westport on Tuesday of Mr John Malcolm Hyndman. He was well known in Brunner and Ngahgre. He was a member of Lodge Advance. He leaves a wife and 3 children to mourn his loss. /Mrs S. A. Clarke of , Hokitika is asister. The deatli took place at Greymouth this morning of Mr James Kennedy, for many years the well known manager of the Greymotuh ga s works. He took charge of the works in 18S8. He was born in London in 1856, and was therefore 73 years of age. Deceased leaves a grown up family of four sons, ('one being Rev. Father Kennedy) and two daughters. Deceased was a popular figure on the West Coast over a long period of years and his death will be generally regretted,
