AERO CLUB

■ANNUAL MEETING CHANGE OF NAME. The annual meeting of the Westland Aero Club was held last evening, there being a good attendance;present. Mr H. T. Parry being in the. chair. It was resolved.that the. name of the Club be altered to Hokitika Aero Club . and that it be incorporated at once. * That the Club operations extend from aaunara to Oturu.

Three delegates were appointed to represent the Club' to meet Gre’yniouth and Westport - delegates in ; regard to the proposed formation of a West Coast sero Club. ■ They, : ard Messrs Parry, Nancekivell and J, Renton. Mr J. B. Flynn was requested to draw hp a set of by-laws, which will be Considered, together with the constitution as'; r dj-aw.n up by the, New Zealand Aero Club, .by the committee at its next-'meeting', which will be held on the; first Thursday in the month and meetings will'continue to be held on that day in future) at,Mclntosh’s, dub ' rooms, which .have been kindly offered for the purpose. Air H. de Castro, club captain of the Greyinouth Aero Club was present, and explained the views of his club in connection with the proposed federation. He was' asked to convey to his dull the good wishes of Hokitika Club in the efforts being made at Greymouth. •
