The first- gold bearding indictment in the United States was secured today, when the Federal Attorney heard a charge brought against Frederick Campbell, a well-known lawyer, who yesterday brought a suit against the Chase National Bank, in the Federal Court, for the return of twentyseven bars of bullion valued at two hundred thousand dollars, which lie had entrusted to the bank for safe keeping.
