His Worship: “And in the meantime tlie cattle were dying.” Defendant reiterated that he had done everything that he could. He could not accept the offer of ia neighbour, as the cattle were not his. His Worship: “It would serve you right if I sentenced you to a term of '.imprisonment to show you that anipnnls have feelings a.s we if as you and must be attended to.” The defendants were convicted and ordered to come up for sentence within 12 months if called upon.
