UNEMPLOYMENT

WOMEN’S COMMITTEE (Per Press Association, Copyright). WELLINGTON, September 28, Hon Hamilton announced to-day that the Unemployment Board had decided to again set up an advisory and investigating women’s committee which will co-operate with the Board in dealing with unemployment amongst women. The committee appointed,-com-prise—Miss B. E. Carnachan, Mrs Marshall McDonald, find Mrs M. <L Forde, held a preliminery meeting vesterday. It will be their duty to visit different centres for the purpose of consulting with and advising local committees, and ' report their various findings to the' IlOard.

If men were not called on to give of their best they would deteriorate and the Board would be, responsible to the public who had found the funds so far. They were looking on critically to see how the money was used. The ‘ Board’s proposals were discussed ill committee.
