STOCK EXCHANGE WINS. NEW YORK, September 27. Rather than have the New Yorx Stock Exchange move to New' Jersey with a loss of financial prestige, as well as real estate values to the city', the Municipal Government to-day' scrapped the stock transfer and brokers’ profit taxes. The stock exchange at the same time announced that its plans for money had been cancelled, and that it will continue to do business in its Wall Street building.
