He expressed his gratification to the discovery of parasitised pupea at Twyford, and regarded it as a* very favourable 'indication, of the ■ efficacy of the parasites. ; In conversation recently, Mr Mug- ; geridge emphasised the fact that the i v, '' v ' held by some that immediately ; parasites were I'.berated on a property the white butterfly would disappear was quite erroneous. “Results will of necessity b P slow,” ho isaid, “and it is impossible to anticimjiwv mu Happen.
