DISARMAMENT
AMERICA’S STAND. (United Association—by Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) WASHINGTON, Sep. 25. Secretary Hull has re-enunciated tbu United States arms policy as providing for freedom from sanctions, but for a willingness to co-operate against arms treaty violators. The Secretary stated the United States was standing fast upon the declared willingness to go as far as other States towards real disarmament, even to the bringing of armies down to the basis of domestic policy forces. It was learned tba the United States would not be averse to an extension of the sunervisory powers of the Permanent Disaramament Commission to keep it upon new reductions when and if made.
