BOMB UNDER BED

OUTRAGE IN QUEENSLAND. (Australian Press Association). TOWNSVILLE, Sep. 20. A bomb was placed under a bedroom at the house of Mr J. P. Quinn, the Crown Prosecutor, overnight, and it exploded, and blew up the floor and the bedstead in which were Mr Quinn and his wife, who escaped injury, but they are suffering severely from shock. The crime is believed to have been committed by somebody with a grudge against Mr Quinn.
