N.Z. PARLIAMENT
BUSINESS FOlt THIS SESSION. (Per Press Association — Copyright.) WELLINGTON, September 19. it is understood that t'he Government is determined to push ahead the work of the session. It is possible that the address-in-reply debate will be - curtailed to foiij. or five days, n°t under any arrangement between the parties, but by other means at the disposal oi the Government. The first measure to be introduced ■will probably be the Companies Bill) of 400 clauses, and 30 pages of schedules. The budget will not be brought down before the middle of October, possibly later. The introduction of the Reserve Rank of New Zealand Bill will most likely be delayed in order to permit of certain negotiations with the interested parties.
