INADEQUACY OF ALLOCATION A TIMARU PETITION (Per Press Association —Copyright). " TIMARU, September 18. A public meeting attended by five hundred here decided .to support a petition to Parliament by the wives of relief workers, protesting against the inadequate relief allocation and asking for the abolition of the stand-down-week. The speakers represented the Relief Organisations, the Churches, the Unemployed Workers, the Borough Council and the Member for the District. .
