TERRIBLE BURNS
WOMAN’S FATAL INJURIES. HAIR AND CLOTHES BURNT'OFF. (Per Press Association, Copyright) HAMILTON. September 18. •Shock‘fig bmps, resulting in her death in the Waikato Hospital yesterday, were sustained by Mias Bessie Ferguson Keith, aged 35 year's, at Hillci-est on Saturday. Deceased, 'who was a resident of Auckland. was visiting her sister Mrs W. T Nelson Miss Keith was cleaning ,clothes.with. ( benijii}e,, during the sence of Mrs Nelson from the. house, when the spirit became ignited by fernps from the kitchen stove. -Her "clothes caught ifire and j she rushed outside, rolling herself on the ■ground to extinguish the flames. When Mrs Nelson' 'returned she found Airs Keith with her hair and clothes burned off. She was. rushed to the hospital whore she succumbed to her injuries early yesterday , morning.
