BASKET BALL
PRIMARY SCHOOL COMPETITION GREYMOUTH, September 13. The primary school Basketball, Cup was won by the Runanga team at the Grey Main school on Saturcley. In the “B” grade competition, Taylorivilltf were superior to tlie other teams. The points in the “A” grade were:— Runanga 20, Hokitika 13, Grey Mai if 10, Convent 9. “B” grade: Taylorville 30, Convent 21, Runanga 21, Hokitika 9, Grey Main 10 ) Rum 11, Cobden 2, The Cups were presented to the successful teams after the match by .Miss Cornwall, Miss Malpass accepting .the “A” Cup and Miss . Nowlands, the “B” Cup.
