MAINE VOTES WET
REPEAL OF PROHIBITION. VICTORY FOR "WETS” ASSURED. (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright). PORTLAND, September 11The State, of Maine, which for over e’ghty years, has had State prohibitf'on, bias become the twenty-sixth State to ratify the Repeal Amendment to-day. The almost complete returns indicated a two to one victory for the Wets. The action in the required thirtysix States is now virtually assured of being taken now by ' November 7. with complete ratification within one. month after that date.
