CODE SIGNALS
NEW INTERNATIONAL EDITIONS (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, August, 28. The Board ,of Trade announce the new inhevnat'io’>:i| code signals notified Inst year, will come into international use on Ist January, 1934. British, French, German, and Nonvegion editions of the code are already published, while the remaining editions by Japan, Spain, and the Uniter States are expected before the end of the year.
The British edition consists of two volumes the first dealing with visual and sound signalling and the second with radio signalling. The latter provides, for the first time, an official international wireless telegraphy code, issued specially for the use of merchant shipping and the air services. The medical section embodies a complete case-stating system, and a list cf standard messages.
