Mr John Alien celebrated Ms 109th birthday at' Davis (Oklahoma). He lived there for three years before meeting o ne of his daughters whom he had not seen for 34 years. Mr Allen has 160 descendants. At the a§e of 80 he married again and became the fathe r of twins.
N.Z. STOWAWAY REMANDED. SYDNEY, August 25. George William Clarke, eighteen, who was charged with vagrancy, wa s stated to have landed at Sydney on the tug from New Zealand. The Police Prosecutor, asking for a remand, said provision Was being made for Clarke’s return.
