The latest Treasury 'returns show that the total ordinary revenue for the. curremt financial year up to August 12 amounted f' n £207,668,091. -as compared with £201,036,870 iat the corresponding date last; year. The ordinary expenditure’ to date for the current year to! lied £255,571,098, which'was thirty-three (millions less than .at the corresponding 'date of 1932.
